کیسا احساں ہے خلق عالم کرنا

Kaisa ehsaan hai khalq-e-alam karna

پھر عالم ہستی میں مکرم کرنا

Phir alam-e-hasti mein mukarram karna

What a favor it is to create the world
Then to honor it in the world of existence

تھا کار کرم ہی اے کریم مطلق

Tha kaar-e-karam hi ae Kareem-e-mutlaq

ناچیز کف خاک کو آدم کرنا

Nacheez kaff-e-khaak ko Aadam karna

It was purely an act of grace, O Absolute Generous One
To make a worthless handful of dust into Adam
